Landscape Sketching will be an enjoyable two day workshop, perfect for anyone who wants to record the landscape. You will work outdoors, where you can study the quality of light firsthand. The emphasis of the workshop will be on seeing shapes, values, and edges. Mark Roberts will give a demonstration each day followed by lots of personal attention, there will be timed thumbnail Class will run from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
Mark Roberts is an artist who paints in the Impressionist Realist tradition. His works are often quiet and pensive. He teaches figure drawing at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Basic Design at Las Positas College, Livermore, and Watercolor and Landscape sketching for the QUEST program of Las Positas College. Roberts is an artist member of the California Art Club and Oil Painters of America.
